Intel Corporation and Bangladeshi Grameen Solutions Tuesday signed an agreement to give assistance to ICT-related education under its World Ahead Program (WAP).Chairman of Grameen Solutions Prof Muhammad Yunus who won 2006 Nobel Peace Prize with Bangladesh's Grameen Bank and Intel Corporation chairman Craig Barrett signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Grameen Solutions which provide business and IT solutions and Grameen Bank which is the pioneer on micro-credit in Bangladesh are all part of Grameen Group. Barett said under the agreement his organization would provide 1,000 computers for schools in Bangladesh as the students of the particular schools can introduce themselves with the ICT. |
