Intel Corporation has
introduced Intel vPro technology, a package of hardware and software
that provides IT workers with enhanced levels of computing performance
and more proactive control of security and costs. The company informed
that early trials of the offering with select Fortune 500 companies
showed an average potential cost savings of 40 per cent.Ramamurthy Sivakumar, country manager, Intel Technology India Pvt Ltd, said, "We are packing in features that address what plagues businesses most -- security threats, cost of ownership, resource allocation, asset management and uptime -- into a single platform that is powered by the greatest multi-core processor in the world," he said. The Intel Core 2 Duo processor runs the Intel vPro technology delivering up to a 40 per cent increase in performance and a 40 percent increase in energy efficiency. |
