Castlevania launches on XBLA next week

Microsoft has announced that Castlevania: Symphony of the Night will be the next game added to the Xbox Live Arcade. It will drop onto the service this Wednesday, March 21.

The PlayStation classic will come to the XBLA in both an original mode and a new widescreen mode for HD displays. Players will be able to take down Dracula for a mere 800 Microsoft Points ($10, which is roughly what the PSone original goes for in game stores).

Play the original version of the game or experience it in enhanced mode with improved graphics and modernized audio and sound effects
New native widescreen and high-definition support
Earn up to 12 Achievements and 200 Gamerscore points
